DUI Defense in Media, Pennsylvania
Handling DUI Defense throughout Delaware County, PA
Are you facing prosecution for drinking and driving in Pennsylvania? Are you worried about the impact a conviction will have on your driving privileges or your job? Are you afraid that you may be sentenced to serve jail time and have to pay a hefty fine? I can help.
In your defense, I offer more than 32 years of experience to people in the Delaware Valley who have been charged with a crime. Before opening my private practice 10 years ago, I served the state of Pennsylvania as an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting cases for 6 years in Dauphin County (Harrisburg) and 16 years in Delaware County. I know the different ways that prosecutors prepare and present DUI cases, and what value they give to different types of evidence.
There is no charge for an initial review of your case at Punshon Law. Please contact me online or call my office at 610-565-8412.
My DUI Defense Practice
I concentrate my DUI practice on criminal proceedings, representing anyone charged with driving while under the influence, including first-time and repeat offenders. In my years of practice, I have personally handled more than 10,000 DUI cases. For 12 years, I was the director of Delaware County’s Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in Media, PA, a diversionary program designed to keep first-time DUI defendants out of the criminal justice system.

Tips for DUI Stops and Arrests:
- Try to ensure the glass in your automobile, or the automobile in which you are driving, is TINTED glass
- Check before beginning your drive trip that all vehicle equipment is in working order (i.e. headlights, blinkers, signal lights, license plate lights, etc.)
- Check before beginning your drive trip that all stickers are up to date
- Keep a cigar in your vehicle cockpit, at the ready for lighting, when being stopped
When you hire me to defend you against a DUI charge, I will thoroughly investigate the facts and circumstances of your case, starting with a determination of whether police had probable cause to make the traffic stop. I will also look at whether you were properly advised of your constitutional rights if taken into custody, and whether field sobriety and blood alcohol tests were correctly administered. If there are violations of your rights or if it can be shown that evidence is tainted by a break in the chain of custody or for other reasons, I will seek exclusion of the evidence and dismissal of the charges against you.
